◎简 介
本片主要根据普利策获奖得主、历史学家Doris Kearns Goodwin的著作《对手团队：政治天才林肯》（Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln）改编而成，该书描写了林肯政治团队“四虎将”总检察长Edward Bates、国务卿William H. Seward、战争部长Edwin M. Stanton、财政部长Salmon P. Chase眼中的林肯，这些人都曾是林肯竞选总统时的竞争者，但后来被林肯强大的人格魅力所感召，成为他的得力干将。故事围绕着南北战争展开，在那段艰难的日子里，面对种种压力，林肯和他的团队运筹帷幄，最终打赢了这场战争，统一了美国。
