　　Ted Nugent: Motor City Mayhem marks a very special moment from thelegendary rocker's career ?this was his 6,000th show. Recorded on July4th, 2008, in front of more than 20,000 fans, the show was acelebration of Nugent's legacy as well as an opportunity for those whohave been following him during the years to once again experience someof his greatest hits.

　　At the age of 60, Nugent looks impressive. His energy is still at anincredibly high level, his singing impressive and his guitar soloselectrifying. The rocker's notorious sense of humor also appears tohave been unaffected; his tongue is as sharp as we remember it.Nowadays, however, Nugent has a different image going for himself?primarily because of his highly publicized political views ?and hisoccasional shootings on the stage are not entirely immune to them.

　　Throughout the show, Nugent is assisted by a number of people whoonce played an important part in his career ?Derek St. Holmes, whoappears on "Hey Baby", "Cat Scratch Fever" and "Stranglehold"; Detroitlegendary drummer Johnny "Bee" Badanjek, who appears on "Jenny Take aRide"; and even guitar teacher Joe Podorsek, who contributes to "HonkyTonk".

　　The actual concert is recorded with a number of strategicallypositioned cameras that allow the viewer to easily follow Nugent andhis band. There is also plenty of footage showing the public having agood time listening to Nugent's music. The stage is very simple,lacking the fancy lighting and pyrotechnics seen during major rockevents.
