本周的唱片市场中除了占绝对优势的《High School Musical 2》以外，唯一打入Billboard200专辑榜前十名的专辑只有戴夫·马休斯（Dave Matthews）和蒂姆·雷诺尔兹（Tim Reynolds）合作的这张现场专辑《Liveat Radio City》。在上市首周，《Live at Radio City》的销量为7万张，获得了本周Billboard200专辑榜的季军。而在Top摇滚专辑榜、Top另类专辑榜和Top互联网专辑榜中，《Live at RadioCity》均成功加冕。在Billboard 200专辑榜的历史上，《Live at Radio City》已经是DaveMatthews和Tim Reynolds合作的第二张上榜专辑了，早在1999年，两人合作的《Live at LutherCollege》曾获得Billboard 200专辑榜亚军，首周销量达到18万7千张。

　　与Dave Matthews的录音室专辑相比，他的现场专辑一向有着更特别的吸引力。当然，这张《Live at Radio CityMusic Hall》也不例外。在纽约城的Radio City Music Hall这场长达两个半小时的演出中，TimReynolds和Dave Matthews联手为观众们献上了26首歌，这其中不仅有Dave Matthews乐队时期的作品，而且还有DaveMatthews个人的作品。此外，两人还翻唱了加拿大民谣老将Neil Young的名曲《Down by theRiver》、丹尼尔·拉诺伊斯（Daniel Lanois）的《The Maker》和美国民歌之父伍迪·格斯里（WoodyGuthrie）的经典曲目《This Land Is Your Land》。

　　和8年前的《Live at Luther College》一样，Dave Matthews和TimReynolds的配合依然十分默契，而Tim的很有个人特点的吉他演奏为整个现场增色不少。此外，这张现场专辑的录音非常出色，这也满足了一小部分对录音质量异常挑剔的歌迷。毫无疑问，这是一张分量、质量都很足的现场专辑，除了DaveMatthews的歌迷以外，喜欢“不插电”的歌迷们也应该好好的品尝一下这张《Live at Radio City》的味道。

As most of you know (or may not know), we're primarily a group thatonly does internal CRF encodes, but as this hasn't been released beforewe thought we'd conform to the x264 rules and release this as non-int.

But since we're fans of not undersizing or oversizing our encodes, wedid a couple test encodes with CRF and found that the output bitratewas around 4600kb/s so we checked the sizing rules to see what size togo with.

We ended up going with 1493 * 5 which may look as an odd size but is completely within the rules.

So ya, sizing rules suck (no one burns to DVDs anymore).

Oh and the audio is 96khz/24bit.
