◎简 介
1909年，在Sainte-Philomene de Fortierville的村庄里，Telesphore Gagnon的妻子Marie-Anne Caron诞下了他们第二个女儿Aurore。女孩成长在一个欢乐幸福的家庭里，但到了1918年她妈妈因肺结核死去。很快，她爸爸拜倒在美丽的表妹 Marie-Anne Houde裙下，决定再婚。然而，Marie-Anne Houde并非像大家所说的那样是个尽职的继母。在小女孩Aurore死后，验尸官发现她死于血液中毒，而罪魁祸首正是对她长期施以虐待的继母……
